What customers say?

“ I love this place and the ladies running it. I came here last year and will be coming back for sure. They have tons of vegetarian options and the food is so fresh and simple but delicious. Feels like a taste of local flavor. I went twice and got both the quesadillas and tostadas. The spinach was a little strange could be frozen but the bean and cheese option, rajas and huitlacoche were all great! ”

“ The staff was super friendly. It’s a small place, about like a food truck, with comfortable patio seating. We portions were big, and the food was good. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but good value if you’re hungry. It was a little bland, but in hindsight maybe I had my expectations set a little high. I’ll definitely give them another chance at some point. ”

“ Reasonable prices, food was simple yet pretty good. We had the quesadillas and sopes. Only complaint I have is that the quesadilla does not come with any toppings such as lettuce, cheese, sour cream etc. You have to ask for these extras and they have an extra charge to add. When asked, the lady looked at us a bit weird but other than that the Pineapple water was pretty good. ”

“ Small place with nice patio seating out front, would definitely recommend this as it’s an affordable quick meal in downtown Playa. The mushroom queca surprised me as I’m not usually a fan of mushroom, it was delicious! ”

“ Authentic hole in the wall where locals eat. The food is Filling and homemade. Great prices! ”

- Luis Gomez -

“ Delicious potato quesadillas. Different and very tasty. ”

- Ian Kelley -

“ Great papakaio which is a sort of tortilla made by potatoes and stuffed with meat, cheese or other think at your choice. Very very good, never tried something like this before, 100% gluten free and so tasty. All prices are below 100 pesos. Good agua de sabor with melon for 38 pesos. Good quesadilla with spinach and cheese for 35 pesos. It's a kind of stall, don't expect a restaurant but worthy ”

“ Delicious home made food. Local and authentic. Kitchen is a mother and 2 daughters making food like they would at home. We came twice now and liked everything we tried. ”
